shoulder wrap

這件shoulder wrap是用debbie bliss alpaca silk dk打的2.5球左右
毛線是兩年前買的剛好跟這次要打的wrap guage一樣 所以就拿來打了
織圖來源是drops design 114-31

drops design的織圖雖然是免費的 但其實不是很好懂
所以一開始又是拆了又打打了又拆
還好在ravelry上面遇到CrochetCynth
他非常熱心的告訴我怎麼打
我才真的比較進入狀況

 打完只能說非常滿意
因為英國已經入秋了
所以有件可以把脖子包起來的披風真的不錯
因為我的毛線打到最後剛好打光光
所以很不幸的最後拉超緊的
所以跟剛開打的另一邊居然差了五公分(好瞎~~~)
還好這件披風是用扣子扣起
所以最後我就用扣子調整長度

不仔細看還看不太出來

每個女孩都應該要有一雙瑪莉珍的鞋

一切都是從ｊｏ的朋友穿了 trumpet的假鞋襪啟發的～因為瑪莉珍的鞋子實在是太可愛！！

所以我就自己打兩雙送給Jo

bump's poncho

這件poncho是用debbie bliss alpaca silk dk打的2.5球左右
是以前打我的magaret小外套剩下的毛線
安迪說顧及到要照顧jo不知道我有多少時間可以打毛線
所以最好打尺寸大一點的
尺寸是12-18m (Jo八個月但感覺穿起來剛好呢還好沒有打小ㄧ個尺碼)
織圖來源是drops design 17-5

整件是由下往上打 一開始的時候打rib很蠢的打錯了

所以前5公分都是在拆了又打打了又拆的狀況下度過(好想哭)
等到終於上手了之後~~也差不多打完了

人家都說打小孩子的衣服很快 但這件我打了兩周
應該算慢的~但打完很喜歡
cable打完都有一種我再也不要再打一件的心得
但被人家稱讚很漂亮時就很開心

打到一半我決定送給快要誕生的小姪子/姪女
剛好八個月大的麻豆大頭jo要套很難套
所以剛剛好送給剛出生的小孩
等到冬天他應該剛剛好可以穿

Jo的受洗禮服

很久很久沒打毛線了,終於在九月的時候 ,決定幫Jo打一件受洗的小禮服
停止打毛線是因為懷孕後覺得自己智商變很低,精神很不容易集中怎麼打怎麼錯的,所以就中止了
因為這樣打一件衣服送給Jo當成開始好像還頂有意義的

就這樣上網找圖找到一件看起來好像不是很難打得來打(其實又誤會了)
九月的時候開始打 因為作者可能自己是很厲害的狠腳色 所以織圖寫的很簡略
有很多地方我都不是很懂 加上這是一個很大的作品(576針) 所以打起來真的很辛苦
一不小心打錯就要花很多時間拆掉重打
而且雷絲的織圖因為一開始不熟所以要是掉針只有重打的命運
所以拆拆打打得花了很多時間
這件衣服的尾端是很特別的方法CAST OFF..
一開始也是看不懂是甚麼意思 還好在RAVELRY上面問其他有打過的大師們
才順利的在受洗的前一天晚上十點完成 差點要開天窗了~~
上身的部分把K改成一排K一排P
蝴蝶結改綁在後面
成品的結果我很喜歡也很滿意~~
婆婆教我要穿緞帶的時候用安全別針別著 這真是一個好方法呢
另外婆婆也教我怎麼挑針基本上它就是用加針的方式好神奇阿!!
又這樣又學到一招新花招呢~

該來打毛線了...

休息了很久...現在開始倒數計時...
預產期為6/7...
本來想幫寶寶打衣服但又擔心精神無法集中的現在打完寶寶都長大了
所以想說來打個shawl以後要餵母乳很實際！
就這樣決定了...

因為是要餵母乳所以只想打棉線..而且不要很多雷絲以免漏點（羞～）
加上不要太繁複的圖案以免我打不下去(現在不是接受挑戰的好時候
所以即使TKA有很多美麗的圖騰還是要等到有自信之後再去跟瑪姊要pattern.


所以好像選擇很少

這件應該還不錯..要是沒看到更喜歡的就是他啦！

午餐袋完成～lunch sack

打了一個月才打好的午餐袋～(其實九月就打好了～帶一直拖到現在才上傳照片

打完之後發現拿來套在頭上尺寸還剛剛好,還好我沒有要搶銀行否則這應該比套絲襪還要舒服很多

這次學到打i-cord跟french knot.

因為打i-cord原本需要兩隻雙頭的棒針但我沒有所以我就用單頭棒針推過來推過去的

有沒有很小聰明阿～～(省錢OBS只好動腦筋）

french knot其實跟小時候媽媽交我縫衣服時打結線的尾巴很像呢～

所以一下子就妝點好我的午餐包

這個午餐包的guage因為一直橋不好換大號棒針後發現洞很大所以最後決定多重複一個花色讓尺寸可以剛剛好～說回來這是我第二次用棉線上次是用debbie bliss的cathay這次是jaeger的aqua.cathay的質感好摸多了也比較有彈性.aqua就是硬梆梆的～所以還好是拿來打包包,要是拿來打衣服大概也會變成一件硬梆梆的衣服吧＠＠

本來還在擔心說這個午餐包會不會不夠大因為我常常是帶著巨無霸便當出門（雖然我是哈比人但我的食量很大！）但打完後發現還可以塞一根香蕉還錯錯有餘ㄟ～～所以還頂滿意的～哈！

後來發現還是不太實用～因為最近吃好多喔～所以需要後背包才夠裝食物～另外白色綁帶子的地方因為袋子打的guage可能太大,用兩次開始有點鬆動＠＠

ms4-打五排

打五排發現第三輪有一針漏針～～～～～～～～～～～～～
好想死～～～～～
所以我打算明天來拆～～～重打～
反正每次打project都需要重打,這也不是第一次..
只是這次有珠珠～～很煩～～每一顆珠子都是用牙線一棵一棵鉤上去的～～=.=
覺得自己好像要拖窗了＠＠

MS4-my swatch

線材很早已前就收到了但是因為我第一次打lace yarn完全不曉得會這麼細收到的時候真是傻眼呢.當然有嘗試馬上要來打但馬上就發現沒辦法.所以只好趕快來買yarn swift& ball winder.有了捲線器真是好多了.但因為買的時候買家說有點重所以我想說那寄到安迪公司去好了他可以開車幫我載回來結果遇到他瘋狂出差週～～硬是等到上個禮拜五才收到=.=!!!

My yarn is from Lane Borgosesia, I eventually bought it from Pavi yarn.They are quite good and fast. My first choice wasn't this shp. Unfortunately the shop I had bought didn't have the color in stock although THEY SHOW IT ON THEIR WEBIST. I was quite frustrated to have such an unpleasant experience I don't think I will buy anything from them now. They didn't get the money from my card but they just wasted me my time.=.=" And even I was told they don't have that color in stock I still could see this on their webist. I don't think it's good although I know maintain a webite isn't an easy job.

I was quite amazied how thin lace yarn us. Of course I at once tried to cast on BUT I didn't want toruin it for I didn't have a ball winder. Such a thin yarn will denefitely caused a very big trouble. I thought of the importance to have a yarn swift and ball winder. I bought it in the end. I knew if I don't have them I couldn't do anything about the yarn. I thought it might be eaiser to ship to Andy's office and then he could bring it back to me. Such a wonderful plan, wasn't it? anothe BUT. He was so busy to out of his office for the whole week~~~~~~~~~ so I didn't get them til last Friday.

收到之後禮拜天我們兩個就在玩新玩具,安迪說還好我沒答應你拿我的手讓你當yarn swift.因為光是有新玩具也捲了好久ㄟ～～捲完後就開始要來打了

We were both ecxited of them. Andy helped me set them up and even helped me wind the ball. He seemed enjoy it. And he said I was soo brilliant not to promise you to be your yarn swift. It took such a long time to wind the skein(100g) I don't think I wanted to torture himn like this.

我的swatch今天剛剛打好～但乍看之下跟regina的很不一樣！！超傷心～
這個swatch是用圖示法其實也是有好處..圖示法的時候打完要是跟圖長不一樣
應該就知道打錯了...!@@##$還好長的有點像啦～我想大概是我和regina拉的大小不一樣吧（等下有空再來仔細研究～～）

I just finished my swatch!! It didn't look the same as Regina's=.= What happened??!! I quite like to knit by Western pics. the good thing is they will note what those symbles means rather than Japanese way. YOU HAVE TO CHECK WHAT THEY MEAN WHEN KNIT JAPANESE PATTERN!!! and the good thing is the project should look very similar when you finish it. I reckon it looked quite the same. So maybe just the differnece from size. mine and Regina's ( I will take a good look afterwards)

昨天repeat時不小心漏針害我完全不知到要拆到那邊去才可以看的懂一整個想哭～～lace yarn 打起來怎麼這麼累阿＝．＝（這下又想買個打毛線專用檯燈因為英國的房子都超暗的這種時候超級想念台灣的家的客廳都是大展的日光燈好幾盞～這樣打起來一定很明亮）
好崇拜regina還打了兩個swatch..之後還打了珠珠....
我想我沒力氣打兩個swatch..我就要這樣用四號針給他打下去了啦...（羞～）

I started on Monday night but I redid quite a few times. I think I need some time to get used to yarn lace. I accidentally sliiped a stitch and then I didn't know how far I needed to go to pick it up=.= so upset!!! Now my new toy target is a knitting lamp for light in British house is not so brlight. I don't know how Regina can made 2 swatches and after than some swatch with beads. I thnk I will stick to this one and just knit by no4 needle for I have no power to make another watch now. ^_^


我還沒有塑膠地板所以我就用大頭針戳在我家沙發上！

紀念光頭妹-Wan Chen McGuinness

因為打毛線的關係，我認識了光頭妹，tka的織友來自世界各地，很巧的光頭妹跟我剛好都住在倫敦．我們第一次見面是因為我寫信給他相約來去angel的LOOP毛線店，剛開始到倫敦上班的我對於市區的交通很不熟悉，做地鐵還很不幸的遲到了一下下所以我們兩個一進到LOOP店員臉就很臭的說：我們快要關門了（開到六點）＠＠　

The reason I know Wan-Chen is just because we both are knit-loves. Through TKA, I knew she is like me living in London. I didn't know many people in this city because I didn't move here very long. I realized if I never try to know people, people will never know me. So I wrote her an email and invited her to go to Loop. I wasn't so familiar with the traffic in London so I was a bit late when I arrived Angel tube station. When we stepped into Loop, the staff wasn't too happy and said we're nearly close!@@

我們兩個都是逛毛線店就會很興奮的人，所以雖然只有十分鐘，一進到loop還是這裡看那裡摸的，這是我們第一次見面，但我從他的部落格裡已經默默欣賞了他的編織作品很久，光頭妹愛用GGH的毛線，而且他挑的顏色都讓我好驚豔！雖然只是很短的時間，那一天剛好他隔幾天要去面試，因為公司規定他一定要穿黑色的正式衣服，所以我們還在angel逛了好一陣子才道別

We both like yarn shop a lot. Although we only had 10 min, we still tried our best to touch yarns, feel it, and left sadly. This is the first time I met her. Before that, I already saw lots of her knitting stuff through her blog. I adnired the color she chose for her projects. Because she was going to have an interview, so we did some window shopping around angel before we parted.

再來就夏天了，光頭妹也怠惰的沒打毛線，我只好一個人默默的打我的毛線，不過我還是有空就會上一下他的甄製瞧瞧是否他又有什麼驚人之作！前一陣子光頭妹又自己回來TKA,所以我也很興奮的快點約他見面，我們在victoria見面時還相約好互相都穿著剛剛打好的毛衣,他穿著他最近打好的poncho,還秀給我看什麼是fisherman's rib. 這一天見面,我們還分享了很多編織的心情,我真的很開心可以認識光頭妹,因為我的同事雖然對於我打毛線這件事情，大多數都是從很驚訝到很羨慕，但因為興趣不同，很難跟他們分享我的心情，還好這一切，光頭妹都懂.那天他還跟我說他們結婚紀念日那天騎車到brighton,她老公還特地準備了一個腳踏車專用的tomtom但還是不小心的騎上了高速公路把他嚇得半死！他跟我分享他是怎麼嘗試著從他家Hackey一路騎到　SOUTH KENSINNTON但還是沒有成功，第一次騎到Holborn就放棄了～我跟他分享我第一次被呼嘯而過的車子整個困在圓環中間很想哭的心情.那一天是我這半年來第一次參加毛線聚會最開心的一天.那天之後，我好期待下一次我們的見面，不過我擔心他又忙下一次見面又不知道要等到什麼時候所以我就寫信給他，謝謝他昨天陪我打毛線跟打屁,他隔了兩個禮拜才回我信,但在信上盡是道歉說不好意思這麼晚回,但他很興奮的說他終於成功的從他家騎到公司了！還說他很開心他會試著天天這麼做.22/9我回信給他說你真是勇敢ㄟ～一直到今天,我還在等他的信,想說都說好要打毛線了,這小女生不知道又在忙什麼,過兩天來打電話給他好了...

Summer comes and Wan chan might be oppucied by something else. I still continued my knitting. But I still went to her blog to see if she restarted her knitting again every now and then. It was very exciting when she back to TKA,I couldn't wait to email her to check what she was knitting and when we could meet! We met at London Victoria and we both wore what we just knitted. I also gave her the pattern I just knitted.She showed me how to do the fishermnan's rib she just learned. I did enjoy the day a lot. and I felt so lucky to know her in this city. I don't have too many friends, especially someone with the same hobby as me. Most of my colleagues were surprised when they know I knit. Except that, nothing much. It is totally different experience when I chat knitting with Wanchen or Regina or Celia, it feels like they do care about what you wanna say except just trying to listen.
Besides knitting she talked a lot about cycling. She also mentioned she and her husband cycled to Briton from London for 5 hours. He prepared a tomtom for the bikes but it directed them to the motor way which freaked her out! And how terrified when she tried to cycle from Hackey to south kensignton.She tried several times and failed. but she still loved to try it. I thought she was such a brave girl because I live in zone 5. the traffic is much much better than central london. But I had a horrible experience when I cycled just around where I live. I stocked in the middle of a round-about and I decided never ever do that again. That was the most wonderful meetup I had for that last 6 months. I was so looking forward to the day we meet again. I gave her some knitting information through email and thanked her to have given me such a wonderful time.She didn't manage to reply my mail after 2 weeks. She apologised for being so late to reply my mail. and say we defnetely will meet again soon. She also mentioned she finally successfully cycled from her place to south kensignton. She was happy about that and she was gonna try to do it everyday. I was very surprised she did it. I was waiting for her mail until today. and was thinking i might call her to book time to meet.

我下班通常都是拿london lite不拿the london paper的,我通常下班坐火車回家就是拿london lite,五分鐘翻完剛好換車,剛好開始打毛線.我今天不知道為什麼,突然拿起被丟在一邊座位的the london paper.我突然看到光頭妹的照片.我想...難怪他這麼忙.不會是因為有表演吧...我有點興奮的要讀起文章.我突然發現標題好像不是我期待的..我驚訝...我不知道該說什麼..我想..我是不是弄錯了..但那名字..那照片..就是連我認識的光頭妹....這種事情不應該發生在一個超級小心的腳踏車騎士...尤其是一個連公車停在站牌都會乖乖的等公車開走才繼續騎腳踏車的人.這～是怎麼一回事...原來這就是我等不到他回信的原因...
I normally take london lite rather than the london paper. I normally took london lite, flipped through just before I changed my train, started knitting on my journey home. I didn't know why I tool the london paper set aside me today. I saw a picture looks like Wan chen. I thought- No wonder she had been so busy, she must have a performance or something. I was a bit excited to read something about her. BUT THE TITLE SEEMED NOT WHAT I HAD EXPECTED. I was ASTONISHED.. I didn't know what I should say, what I felt. It must be a big joke. There must be something wrong about it. But the photo, the name, is exactly the lovely adorable Wanchen I knew. I couldn't believe how come it will happen to a super cautious cyclist. Especially she was a girl who would wait behind the bus whenever buses stops at bus stop. What was going on??? It is actually the reason why I haen't got her reply......

我詛咒那個肇事又逃逸的卡車司機！你最好盡快被抓到！王八蛋！！！


CYCLIST DIES IN ROAD ACCIDENT

ARAN VEST 1

我今天定了線～～決定用debbie bliss cashmerino dk來打！
因為下週線就到ㄟ～～^_^

best friend cardigan 1-haven't found the right yarn yet.

這個毛衣是用twinkle每天都在網路上花很多時間在找這個線,但找來找去英國就是沒有適合的,今天走路去peter jones問小姐,小姐說這個喔是沒有類似的頂多就是rowan的big wool或debbie bliss 的como（不過這也是小妹自己做功課找出來的）但因為要用15mm的針所以會很空.也許比較好的方式是用兩股下去打...兩股的意思～～就是～～會花很多錢＠＠

因為上次cable bag是用big wool打的,所以我自己覺得我不是很喜歡100% wool的質感,所以我這次對於como超有興趣的！我自己突發奇想的說我是不是可以縮小針號,並且換成como,（一球快五英鎊的como我都決心要砸下去了ㄟ！）...但小姐說,你先回家拿big wool適打要是gauge會對～你再回來買como...........好吧...又是個無所獲的一日.....

很想買毛線是又不能買..真的很悶..但可以看到一堆毛線....就又好興奮....有時候覺得自己好變態阿！！！

fake-a-gamo VI 完成！ Finally complete my fake-a-gamo( What a long journey~~)

週末我把我的裁縫機搬出來玩耍～這是我去年收到的聖誕禮物只是因為我從沒操作過,所以每次只要拿出來就要拿著手冊一個一個步驟的從穿針到捲bobbin然後常常bobbin還很不給面子的會卡住@@所以每次只要想到要用裁縫機我就是一個頭兩個大.但這個週末我實在是覺得我應該把我的fake-a-gamo完成,這麼漂亮的包包一直被我冷落的放在旁邊真的是對他很不公平！ 所以我就拿出我的裁縫機～嘿嘿～一次搞定ㄟ～～不過我還是有耍小白吃～正反縫錯,所以拆線又花了好一陣子@@ I finally took out my sewing machine which was my Last Xmas present from Andy. I never used one before I got it. So I was very UNFAMILIAR withi it. Everttime I use it, I need to do it step by step according to the manual. Yes! From putting on the thread, wind the bobbing, etc. And I had so much trouble with the bobbing=.= So I wasn't keen to use sewing machine. Honestly I've finished this bag for quite a while. But I hadn't manage to do my lining. Last weekend I just thought this is such a lovely bag, if I don't do it NOW. It might end up being put on the corner FOREVER!!! so I made up my mind to just do it!!!Lucily! I didn't suffer a lot to finish the lining, except I sewed it in side out the first time.

縫完內裡後開始縫把手反而輕鬆很多呢..最困難的居然是如何把內裡漂亮的跟包包縫合.我逢的不是很美=.=不過至少已經有個內裡可以開始用了=.= 希望下次再做包包可以有比較漂亮的內裡,上次打cable bag時因為是麻花包所以織片很緊密的在一起,縫內裡時很簡單,但fake-a-gamo是個很多洞洞的包所以我不知道怎麼縫得很紮實因為擔心線會露出來就不好了

After sewing the lining, it was much easier to sew the handles. The most difficult part was out of my expection-- how to sew the lining perfectly inside the bag. I have to admit that Ididn't do it well. But at least I can start using it NOW!!! I hope I can make it better next time. The first bag I made was a cable bag. Maybe because of the pattern was full of cable. It was quite solid to sew the lining . Unfortunately Fake-a-gamo isn't bag with lovely pattern which has some holes. That is why I didn't know how to sewing the lining in a better way.

今天已經拿去上班自己對於自己的包包自戀到不行..哈哈哈哈...除了內裡需要改進之外,真是無可挑剔阿！！！
I couldn't wait to have carried my fake-a-gamon to work today even I nealy missed my train this morning.( I rushed to change my bag just before I left) I was so happy about it! Except the lining.

這是我第一件披肩我沒有想到會這麼快就完成呢！（果然粗毛線可以打很快ㄟ） 雖然是一件設計很簡單的披肩但卻很有自己的特色,唯一比較困擾的是不知道揹包包時是該揹在裡面還是外面,所以我決定要把包包換成提的,所以這代表--我要快點來完成我的fake-a-gamo!!(昨天我鼓起勇氣把我的裁縫機拿出來把內裡縫好了@_@)

This is a shawl I have been attracted for a long time. I didn't realize it would be finished so quickly! only 2 weeks!! Godness! Although it's a very simple design but it does has its own charaster. The only flaw is when I hold a handbag I don't know whether to carry it inside the shawl or outside.:) Which really inspires me to finish my fake-a-gamo( I actually took out my sewing machine and complete th elining last night.)

這個毛線是jeager的natural fleece,已經停產了,但我因為喜歡他的顏色所以買來打打看,這個毛線最大的缺點是,有時會很粗有時會很細,我在打的時候很擔心打完整件衣服看起來會 有些地方的毛線很粗有些地方太細,但打完卻很意外的沒有這個問題,不過我想有機會在打粗毛線我應該不會再買這一款毛線,給其他粗毛線一個機會. 上次打粗毛線是rowan的big wool,兩個都是粗毛線（但natural fleece更粗一些）都是100% wool,但觸感JAEGER的好很多～可惜粗細不一=.=

The yarn I used this time is natural fleece from JAEGER. It is already discountinued. I like the color that was why I gave it a try. The biggest shortcoming is the yab has very uneven thickness. I was so worried the shawl would look not right when finished. Thank God it doesn't happen! I don't think I will buy the same yarn to knit next time. The last timne I use bulky yarn is big wool from ROWAN. they're both 100% lambwool but I prefer the texture of JAEGER.


我鈕釦是在ebay上面買的,照片實在是照的太美了,所以我反而有點擔心品質不會像照片那麼好,但是很意外的實體就像照片一樣唷～非常的有質感！（要謝謝 Celia跟Regina幫我票選二號！哈！）縫在衣服上也很好看呢～～我發現織圖扣子的位子縫起來後最後一顆有點拐拐的,所以我後來自己把扣子的位置移的比較後面這樣可以調成扣扣子時下擺是剛好成一圈,我自己覺得這樣比原本的設計好看,也會剛好可以讓領子的地方突出的很漂亮.
the button is from ul ebay:belloandbellissimo. They are as lovely as what the picture looked like. And they were delivered very fast!! well packed. I recommand this seller if your'e in the uk.( I wanna thank Regina and Celia to have picked such wonderufl buttons for me. They go so well with this shawl!!)I found the position of the last button will make the shawl doesn't look quite right if you knit it according to the pattern. So I moved it a bit further to make it a smooth line among the three buttoons. And I also think it makes the collars looks much better. I really like the little altering for myself!


帽子的地方是用半針縫合,我看了圖之後覺得跟flat seam很像一邊又心急的想要趕快完成,就自己開心怎樣縫合就下手了！有時候覺得編織本來就是要隨心所欲完全照原圖縫反而綁手綁腳,最後是用三針縫合的方式bind off. （引き抜き）這些專有名詞真的常搞的我頭昏腦脹的～～有時候會覺得乾脆直接打英文織圖算了,但看著日本的圖就又一直留口水...=.="
好猶豫阿～～(這一段有些我不會翻譯因為我不是很懂這些專有名詞=.=)

the hood was beamed by 半針縫合. I wasn't sure how to do it, but I reclon it looked like flat seam meanwhile, I was so desperate to finish it.( I was so close!!!) so I just did it on my own way. I think knitting shouldn't be a pressure to do whatever the pattern told us.( of course some main principle we still need to obey!) the most important thing is I ENJOY it! and if I did, why kept worried about which way is the correct way. I feel frustrarted when I encountered these terminology but I also learned and felt so happy when I realize what they are.


Note:
11/9 Finished the half part of the shawl.
14/9 Finished shawl..Will work on hood now.
19/9 put on buttons and make my first-ever button holes
20/9 use 半目とじ to seam two sides of the hoods, I reckin that’s flat seam. and then (引き抜き)3 needle bind-off to finish the hood.
20/9 I changed the position of the last button to make it look more smoothly.
やっとできました。。そんなにかかるじゃないね。。よかった！

上禮拜很開心的報名了MS4,而且想說要來打給我娘，給他一個驚喜～上禮拜五很心急的找毛線跟珠珠，畢竟MS4已經開打好一陣子了，而且這是我第一次找蕾斯線跟珠子，加上這是要送我娘的不是自己要用的，所以掙扎好久才選好顏色，大多數在美國的人都是買knitpicks,但英國買不到，所以只好流口水，最後還好Regina說Lane Borgosesia也蠻不錯的,所以就決定來試試看！我一直是個很不會看照片下決定的人，還好Regina有幫我挑毛線跟珠珠的顏色，放心多了！下定好後就一直想著禮拜一應該就會收到

I registered to join MS4 last week. I was thinking to make it for my mom to surprise her. I spent quite a long while to find the right yarn and beads. I wasn't easy for me for I was first time to knit by lace yarn. Most of the members knit by knitpicks, unfortunately I can't buy knitpack in the UK. so finally I found Lane Borgosesia on internet and Regina said she's heard people recommand this yarn, which was a big relieve for me. I never realize it is a big task to find a right color for my mom. Thanks for Regina she gave me lots of opinions on the yarn and beads. I am those kinf of person to have problem to make a decision unless I see the stuff in front of me. I did enjoy the whole process of looking for materials.

禮拜一～什麼都沒有到

禮拜二，還好珠珠到了無奈的是今天珠珠已經到了但毛線店居然打來說毛線缺貨（奇怪ㄟ～你沒貨你網站上不會寫喔．．還害我看半天好不容易決定好顏色今天才說沒貨而且還不知道要等多久～～）

Anyways, I put my order on line last Friday and couln't wait for Monday's coming.
Monday, nothing came.
Tuesday, finally my beads came. The color is very rich and just like what I think. Where's my yarn??! I tried to call the shop, the lady who answered the phone said she was too busy to deal with it. Maybe I couldn't try to call tomorrow.
Wed, I got the call from the shop, unfortunately they don't have the yarn.???!!! Why...I was very upset because if they could note out of stock on internet, at least I can try other colors. Now I've

我的shawl就在不知不覺中已經完成主體的部分,剩下帽子就完工了ㄟ～現在努力找扣子中

目標物有

1.這是我目前最中意的～但好像也不是十全十美～～

2.雖然最有質感,但好像旁邊太厚了一點

3.單純是喜歡這種扣子,但顏色太淺了一點

大家覺得哪一個比較適合阿？？

也許上週天氣不是很佳本來要打小外套的但不知道為什麼毛線一拿起來就打起來這件shawl,應該是因為天氣不好怕小外套是短袖的比較穿不到吧：P

第一次用jeager的natural fleece,但很不滿意有時粗有時細,而且很明顯的有時候很粗有時候很細,光頭妹說也許是故意的,所以我想我只好接受,在ravelry很努力的找其他人對這款毛線的comments,但也沒什麼人提到,還有人給他五顆星評價,我自己只給一顆星,不過打了2/3之後效果還頂滿意的,所以還是別計較了～這款pattern只是很簡單的一行下針一行上針,再 一行下針然後2p2k,低調的很好看,就有一點點格子的紋路感,可能因為毛線很粗,所以居然這次只花一個禮拜就完成2/3,好驚人喔！！

明天要開始打帽子的部分,真的好喜歡帽子唷,尤其在風大的英國,有帽子就更保暖一些,

fake-a-gamo V-received my bag handle

昨天終於下定決心定了我的bag handles. 找來找去終於在pelennapatchworks找到
一對cane handle 3.5英鎊,其實比起john lewis已經便宜許多
原本一直在ebay尋覓,無奈大多數都是u型或是圓形,另外找到一家美國的中盤商但他不賣零售
所以最後終於找到pelennapatchworks真開心！
昨天定貨今天就收到了呢！
所以希望週末我可以一鼓作氣把我的fake-a-gamo完工！

Finally I made up my mind to order bag handles on pelennapatchworks. It is the cheapest I could find so far. One pair is GBP 3.5. The delievery is 1.5 within UK. If the oder is over15 will be free. I spent lots of time looking for straight handles. Most of them are in U shape or round or any knid of shapes except straight. It was very exciting when I finally found this at pelenapatchworks. They also sould lots of lovely fabric. I was quite tempting to order some from them.
I made my order yesterday around noon and got it today! So fast and nice package!
I hope I can finish my fake-a-gamo this weekend!!

Margaret Cardigan IV-Finished 小外套完工！

終於完成我的第一件小外套,完成後才發現其實比我想像的小件很多,原本我預期會是一件不是那麼包的衣服,但打完才發現除了袖子的地方特寬有符合我想要的小外套之外,領子的地方其實頂包的..(Oh my God..) 而且果然如我預知的,袖口的地方太寬＠＠

Finally finished my first-ever cardigan. It was much smaller than I thought it would be. I expected it will be a cardigan rather a shrug. Except the sleeves are quite wide, the collar is quite fit. and as I had worried, the cuffs were way too wide.

其實當初打完袖口時我就有先試套在手上,還 特別量了一下自己其他的外套的袖口寬度,但考量到冬天穿了毛衣後應該會需要大一點點,而且既然是日本的織圖,依照日本女生的尺寸,對我來說應該是不會有太 大的疑慮,不過結果還是大太多,畢竟成品是一件很包的小外套,不像我原本想像的是一件寬寬的外套所以,袖口可能要拆掉重打（嗚嗚～～）

I did try to put it on when I finished cuffs. In order not to make a mistake, I even tried to measure some of my other coats. I thought if I wear something inside in the winter, I probably need a wider cuff. Besides this pattern is from Japan, according to Japanese girl's size, it shouldn't be a problem for me. In the end, it was still too big for me. I was quite frustrated because I spent much time to knit this one, I really don't want to end up unravelry it or disappointed about what I had done.

第一件外套終於可以完成其實很開心,至少整件衣服穿起來沒有特別不順的地方,不過還是有很多可以改善的地方,像是,要是當初挑深色的毛線應該會比現在看起來受一點並且低調一點,因為挑了乳白色,所以看起來很腫,而且漂亮的pattern感覺有點太花了,不過因為裡面搭小洋裝,看起來其實很美麗耶～超開心～～（真是個情緒大起大落的女人～～）
還有要相信自己的直覺,我當初打到一半就覺得好像那邊怪怪的,說不上來的一種感覺,但我一直安慰自己那是因為第一次打衣服所以也許過度擔心了.

I am quite happy to finally finish my first cardigan. At this it is quite like a clothe, but there's still something needs improved. I think dark yarn might be better for this pattern. I tried to wear in black dress inside today. It turned out much much better than what it looked like when the first day I completed it.


現在都很擔心,看到喜歡的織圖但其實花很多心血以及期待打好的那天,但其實並不是很適合自己這種狀況當去逛街時遇到只是將一件衣服從衣架上拿下跟穿上兩秒的時間但當是自己一針一針編織出來的成果時,不是很喜歡時真是不知道要怎麼調適自己的心情........

p.s.：袖口是用袖子去收從93針(42cm)收到54針(21cm) 我的手腕大概14.5cm也沒有特別小（基本上我只有身高小,骨頭算很大的）所以我也不知道原圖的照片是怎麼可以稱住袖口變成漂亮的收口=.=. ..我後來直接縫起來,但這樣袖口跟袖子的接縫會一點有點不順...

安迪說：他覺得袖子接身體的地方也太大了一點(不過我自己倒是覺得那不是原本設計就這樣嗎？）所以也許我可以重打一次,反正第一次打毛衣就是學教訓,下一次也許我就會知道要怎麼打出比較符合我尺寸的衣服.另外要是我不滿意也只是擺在那邊不穿,我也不會更開心........真是兩難～～～

我今天特早起一早又開始修我的袖子,發現縫起來後好像還不錯,不過因為只收一邊所以感覺有點不平均,我嘗試著平均收兩邊（收完後袖口寬剩下19cm）,袖子收完後還不錯看ㄟ～～而且也呈現出我希望的泡泡袖～～真開心！！這樣就不需要重打了！！(晚點再來照相！）

因為之前英國天氣頂溫暖的,溫暖的駝毛握在手上打不下去,另外也擔心手出汗把我的外套弄髒
所以就認真的打起我的包包.目前包包已經打完剩下縫內裡跟把手（但通常這種時候最懶～不知道這樣拖下去又要多久＠＠） but anyway,天氣又變冷了,所以就趕緊回來打我的小外套！

I havne't continued knitting my cardigan for a long time. One was because it was quite warm in the UK. It was very difficult to hold such warm alpaca yarn to knit; also I was worried my sweaty hand might dirty my cardigan. That was why I started knitting my fake-a-gamo. ( my fake-a-gamo is almost done. the last job I need to do now is to sew the lining and handles. I normally feel lazy to complete the last part. but anyway, it's gettting colder again., so I back to my cardigan now.

這是我第一次棒針編織之後用鉤針收編,一開始又是看不懂到底是在搞什麼,非常感謝regina,還有羊咩告訴我那些外星符號的意義,趁著週末也在家狂看itube跟clover的鉤針打法,所以昨天在火車上終於打出來第一個袖口ㄟ.雖然在火車上但我還是興奮的拿我的手機把第一個鉤針的小作品拍了下來（像小朋友一樣！）

This is the first time I use crochet. At first I didn't know how to do crochet, let alone the pattern. Thank Regina and sheephouse to help me understand the pattern. I worked very hard to watch on itune and clover to learn how to do crochet. maybe the experience of provisional cast-on, It didn't take me long time to pick itup this time. I made my first ssk and 3 chaing stitches on the train yesterday. Although I was on the train I still couldn't help take out my mobile to take the picture.

袖口其實是用羅紋編（一上針一下針）,不知道為什麼總是有一兩個洞洞所以我現在第二個袖子有拉緊一點好像就沒這狀況～,我看我第一個袖口可能會拆掉重打.因為我覺得那些洞很醜,另外拉緊一點袖口才不會太大,現在有24公分,我想要收到22公分左右,目前我比較滿意第二隻袖子的寬度.

The cuff is knitted by 1k1p. It wasn't a very difficult one but I didn't know why I had several holes on my cuff.=.= Now I am working on my 2nd cuff. After trying to knit it tighter, this situation seems gone. I think I will unravel the first cuff. One is because I don't like those holes, the other is I think the first cuff is a bit too loose. It is 24cm, I reckon 22cm might be a better width for me.

收編是用兩針併一針加三鎖針.因為我剛開始打鉤針,還不太會控制拉線的力道,所以一下子因為拉太緊，線過不了洞,一下子又因為放太多，左手食指已經抓不住線了．．．OH MY GOD!!昨天在收編的時候打到我都流眼淚（我太專注在盯作品了）這樣真傷眼睛～～＠＠ 不知道何時我才能好好的控制我的線,根據我打棒針的經驗,大概需要兩三個作品來磨練@@

the edging is knitted by ssk, 3 chian stitch. This is the first time I do crochet, so I have no diea what is the best way to pull the yarn. My tears were coming out after I concentrated on the project too much. It wasn't good for my eyes. I think I need more practice to control my yarn.

羅紋編不難只是要花很多時間打...........所以現在要用時間換取成果.....果然我討厭只是在那邊1p1k...

1p1k isn't hard jsut takes time. I really don't like doing boring 1k1p.

打完第二個袖子後我把第一個拆啦!因為覺得真的太寬..但還是有莫名的洞洞~~這到底是為什麼阿!!! 收第二個袖口時開始收編收的比較快了..果然打勾真需要練習壓!!

21/8 開始打領子(或是說下擺)可能打了一晚已經眼花撩亂了但還是很想繼續,所以就有點神智不清.一開始因為邊邊有點捲起來所以不是很確定線要穿到哪邊後來終於搞定又發現怎麼兩邊剩下的袖口長度不太一樣量半天到晚上十點多終於算對了但其實跟一開始一樣我可能是因為拉到織片所以量起來長度會不一樣吧..

I start knitting the colar on 21/8. Perhaps I was much tired than I thought. The right thing I should have done is take a rest and start the next day. So I struggled in the left length between the two sides. First was I the slightly curly edge made me confused where should I put my needle in. then was the balance of the left edge of both side of the main body. I thought I waste about 1 hr to figure out I was right at the first time!!!! I reckon I accidentally pulled it to cause the mistake.

嘿嘿～～等待三個工作天終於到啦！

Finally I've got my yarn. I ordered it from blacksheep.

There are loads of yarns on sale. This is the first time I purchased jaeger's yarn. I was a bit worried the color will be different from what I saw from the monitor. Fortunately they look prettier than on the screen.

這次是買jaeger的毛線一開始很擔心網路上看照片挑顏色色差會很多

所以本來很想很多顏色都來一下但還是乖一點～～

雖然Nature fleece是100%羊毛 ,但觸感很好並不會刺刺的！

這個毛線我打算來打celia的粗編小外套！！

Nature fleece is 100% wool but it is very softer then I expected. I plan to knit a shrugshrug. I hope it will be so nice as Celia's.

希望完成也會像Celia的那麼美麗













My previous plan is - if the yarn is not so soft, even I knit a shawl to knit a shawl. it won't bother me too much!
這個要來打一個shawl!本來想說觸感不好的話當外套比較沒關係,但觸感比我想像的柔順很多呢

網站上的顏色

補上今天早上拍照的毛線,其實實體顏色介於兩張照片中間不知道為什麼今天早上拍起來特別寶藍

有3捲棉線(要來打我的lunch sack) ,主體色會用桃色點綴色用白色,原本有點擔心那桃色會出乎意料的橘(我不喜歡橘色)但後來寄到的時候還頂喜歡的ㄟ...(因為價格好誘惑人喔~~嗚嗚)

There are 3 skeins of cotton( for my lunch sack) the main color is the peach, I was worried the peach would be too orange(personally, I don't like orange) but the real color is quite lovely!!

I quite like this website, so if you're into some yarn, maybe you can get some yarn.
